Review by hotel critic
The quaint cobblestone streets and the picturesque views from the room-with Château Frontenac just outside the window-made it the perfect backdrop for our winter retreat. Although the restaurants close early, we enjoyed the intimate ambiance of their Le Pain Béni, where we savored local cuisine that marries traditional flavors with a contemporary twist. The staff absolutely shined, extending warm hospitality that made us feel like cherished guests rather than mere visitors. Just a heads up: the absence of a lift can be a bit tricky, especially when lugging large bags up to the second floor, but the cozy atmosphere and ideal location for exploring Quebec's historical treasures more than made up for it.
